The Greece, 2018, 100 Euro Gold Proof Coin “Apollo: God of Light, Healing & Arts” pays tribute to Apollo, one of the most radiant and multifaceted deities of the ancient Greek pantheon. As the embodiment of harmony and clarity, Apollo governs the realms of music, poetry, and prophecy, while also serving as a healer and a bringer of light—both literal and intellectual. His presence represents the ideal of balance between reason and inspiration, where beauty, knowledge, and order converge. This exceptional gold issue captures that luminous essence, with gold itself reflecting the brilliance associated with the god. Struck in fine gold and finished to proof standard, the coin stands as a tribute to enlightenment, creativity, and the enduring pursuit of perfection at the heart of Hellenic culture.
